Kyle Nixon

Kyle Nixon serves as the director of network expansion and operations with the Center for First-generation Student Success, an initiative of NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and The Suder Foundation. Prior to joining NASPA, Kyle served The University of Memphis in various capacities within the division of enrollment management—most recently as the director of recruitment and orientation.

Kyle's work in higher education has centered around college student access and persistence, with a specific focus in enrollment management. Kyle has extensive experience in student recruitment, transition, and retention programs at The University of Memphis, Auburn University, The University of Southern Mississippi, and Louisiana State University. A native of south Mississippi, Kyle has a B.S. from The University of Southern Mississippi and an M.A. from Louisiana State University. He is currently pursuing his Ed.D. in higher and adult education from The University of Memphis.

Kyle currently resides in Memphis with his dog, Clover.
