Partner With PIVOT
PIVOT partners with schools and districts across the Mid-South, mostly here in Tennessee. Every partnership starts by listening. Here’s how we work together, from your first look at our work to the first day of the partnership.

See a cohort in action
The best way to understand PIVOT is to experience it. We invite prospective partners to join us in person, sit in the room as our cohorts learn, and take part in select sessions. Afterward, stay for the social events and get to know the leaders and partners in our network.

Design the partnership together
Once we understand your needs, we’ll put together a proposal. It will set out the objectives and outcomes for the partnership and a scope of work designed to reach them. This is a collaborative step. We’ll go back and forth with you until the proposal fits your context, priorities, and timeline.

FAQ
Common questions
Who do you partner with?
We work with schools and districts across the Mid-South, mostly in Tennessee.
What does a partnership include?
Most partnerships combine professional development with hands-on implementation support. We help your leaders learn new practices and then put them into action in their schools. Some partners join one of our cohorts. Others work with us on a custom engagement built entirely around their needs.
How long does a partnership last?
It depends on the work. Our cohorts follow an annual calendar, with a kickoff in late summer or early fall. Custom engagements are more flexible and are scoped to the complexity of your project. If you’re interested in joining a cohort, we recommend reaching out in the spring so there’s time to plan before kickoff.
How do partners typically fund the work?
Most partners fund their engagement through Title I or Title II funds, school improvement grants (SIG/TAG), school-based budgets, or philanthropic support. We’re happy to talk through which options might fit your situation.
Can a partnership be customized?
Yes. Every proposal is built around your goals, so no two partnerships look exactly alike.
Is there a cost to talk with you or observe a cohort?
No. Conversations, cohort observations, and our free resources are always free.
